Privacy Policy
What this site does
Robot Vacuum Advisor is a free, rule-based buying advisor for robot vacuums. You answer a short questionnaire and the site shows one recommended model with its trade-offs. The site does not sell anything; purchases happen on Amazon.
Your quiz answers
Your answers are used only in your browser to calculate the recommendation. They are not sent to us, not stored on a server, and not linked to any account, because this site has no accounts, no database and no server-side storage of your answers. Reloading the page clears them.
Cookies and browser storage
This release candidate does not set cookies and does not write to local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to yet.
Analytics
The site contains an analytics adapter that is completely inactive in this release candidate: no measurement ID is configured, so no third-party analytics script is loaded, no request is sent to any analytics provider, and no cookie or browser storage is created by it. The six planned events are defined and sanitized in the code, and they stay inside the page.
Before any analytics provider is activated, this policy will be updated to name the provider, describe exactly what it collects, and explain any consent that becomes necessary.
Amazon links
The “Check current price on Amazon” buttons are affiliate links that include our Amazon Associates tracking tag. When you click one, you leave this site and Amazon’s own privacy policy applies. We do not receive your name, address or payment details from Amazon; we only see aggregated, anonymous commission reports.
Hosting
This project does not run its own server-side application. If the site is hosted by a static hosting provider, that provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the technical request data it processes to deliver the pages.
Children
This site is intended for adults shopping for a robot vacuum and is not directed at children.
Changes
If the data behaviour of the site changes (for example when analytics is activated), this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the “Last updated” date will change.
